The P. Ganendra Scholarship, established in 2009 is set up in memory of the late Ir. P. Ganendra, one of the leading luminaries in engineering consultancy in Malaysia, who had set the pace for the growth of the industry in the 1970s through his vision and passion for engineering.  The P. Ganendra Scholarship is set up to assist deserving individuals to pursue an undergraduate course in engineering at a local university recognised by the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.

Scholarship Details

Level of Study:	Undergraduate Programme
Application Timeline:	Present - 30 September 2024
Scholarship Eligibility:	- A Malaysian citizen - Passed the SPM examination with credits in Bahasa Malaysia and the English Language subjects, with no less   than seven (7) A+ and or As in subjects taken - STPM or A-Level with at least two (2) As and one B, or Diploma/Matriculation - cumulative Grade Point Aggregate    (CGPA) of at least 3.50 - Not exceeding 25 years of age on 1st July of the year of scholarship application - Has been offered a place to pursue or is already pursuing a First Degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering   related to the Building and Construction industry at a recognised local university - Special consideration will be given to candidates facing financial constraints - Additional requirements:    a. Good command of the English language, both written and oral    b. Demonstrate leadership qualities, versatile and possess teamwork capabilities.    c. Excel in both extra-curricular activities and sports.
Scholarship Coverage :	The Scholarship provides a grant of RM4,500 per year. This grant will be given every year until the completion of the course.
